This is a very direct and effective “Blendo” routine.
Two small silks, one colored red and one white are clearly shown, and tucked into a metal tube.
The performer blows through the tube, and a large red and white striped silk flies out, then floats gently down. The silk is caught and can be freely displayed, and the tube shown clearly empty. Both items can be handed over for examination if you so wish.
Although we have supplied this with the red, white, and striped silks ready to work with no extras required, you can also use this special “dyeing” tube with your own silks. The tube can be used to transform two or three silks of the appropriate colors into your National Flag. Or you can use three or four small silks and transform them into a picture message silk that says Happy Birthday, or Merry Christmas, or Good Night. Or you can use this to transform a white silk into a colored one. Take a sip from a colored liquid (like raspberry soda) before you blow, and a white silk transforms to red !
