The magician introduces a holder with four panels (each approximately 3″ x 6″), each displaying a different colourful lollipop— Yellow, Green, Orange and Red. In addition, an envelope containing a prediction is shown and either left in clear view or entrusted to a spectator.
To demonstrate complete fairness, the panels are taken out, turned face down, mixed thoroughly, and then replaced back into the holder with their backs facing outward.
A spectator is invited to choose any one of the lollipops—this is an entirely free selection with no influence.
When the chosen panel is revealed, it matches perfectly with the prediction that has been on display from the beginning. The spectator may open the envelope themselves to confirm the result. There are no duplicate panels, no switches, and no alternate endings.
