Chick Pan
The Chick Pan is a smaller version of the classic Dove Pan.
The performer shows an empty pan. A piece of flaming paper could
be placed in the pan for dramatic effect, and transformed into the item
to be finally produced. The pan is covered for a instant, and when the
cover is lifted a live chicken appears in the pan.
This is an utility production prop, which can be used for producing
small live stock or other solid loads. A favorite with children's
performers is to put in invisible ingredients and "bake-a-cake". Another
very effective presentation is the Ribbon Fountain, where multicolor ribbon
flows out of the pan. The apparatus we supply is made from seamless spun
aluminum. The pan measures approximately 6.5" in diameter and only
an inch in height. The complete apparatus (with cover) measures approximately
6.75" in diameter and 3 inches in height (including the knob on the cover).

Chinese Fanning Deck
This is a very specially prepared pack of cards with which you can perform
some very impressive flourishes, to create an impression of incredible
skill. In fact, the flourishes are almost automatically performed
with the specially prepared cards. You shuffle the cards, then make beautiful
designed arches, wheels and rosettes, or perform a perfect Waterfall Shuffle
with the cards.
The deck is some what similar to the Electric Deck with which most
magicians are familiar, but the construction of this deck is quite different.
As a result you can use both the long and narrow edges of the cards to
make the designs, allowing you to produce a much greater variety.

Chop Card
The Chop Card effect allows the Magician to perform some very different
and offbeat magic with some cards and coins.
What we supply is half a dozen Playing Cards, one of which is a "Chop
Card" and has a magnet concealed in it. This is an ultra thin magnet,
so that the Chop Card can be very freely handled as just an ordinary playing
card. This card will attract magnetic steel coins or other steel
objects like small keys and washers. The use of this gimmicked card for
magic are many, and we supply a very detailed instruction sheets for handling
the cards, and many of the effects you can perform with it. Wave a couple
of playing cards shown freely on both sides over your empty palm and produce
a coin. Or wave the card over a coin on your hand and have it transform
into an entirely different coin. Use the card for a very easy (almost
mechanical) version of a four coins assembly. Or have a coin penetrate
through a playing card placed on a clear glass tumbler. Our three
page instructions manuscript details all these effects, and will spark
ideas for many others.

Clear Penetration
A pencil penetrates through a clear "glass" sheet. We have had a
model of this in the past in our range. We now have a new model,
better finished, better working, and at a much lower price. The performer
displays a clear sheet in a plastic frame. After the frame is examined,
two playing cards are placed over the middle of the clear sheet.
A pencil is now pushed through the cards, apparently penetrating right
through the middle of the plastic sheet. When the frame is now examined,
the cards have holes through them, but the clear plastic sheet sandwiched
by the cards is entirely intact. And the frame can be handed over
for examination.
Clear Penetration is a mechanical self working item, easy to do when

Candle Through Silks
Penetrations make for impressive magic effects, specially when the penetration
involves fire. We offer you a Candle Through Silks item, where a lit candle
passes through three large silks threaded through a square tube.
The magician displays a fold flat decorated tube with three large holes
on two sides. The tube can be very freely displayed, then three large
silks are passed through the holes in the sides. The tube is turned
to display the silks fill the entire inside of the tube. A large
lit candle (which could also be examined) is now passed through
the tube. It seems impossible this can go through without burning
the silks. Yet when the silks are removed, they are found to be totally
unharmed. This works differently to the usual penetration effects, and
you will like the simple mechanism that makes the effect possible.
We supply you the special decorated laminated tube, complete with the
three large silks, and full working instructions. You can use any
long candle (fancy or plain), as there is nothing tricky about this.

Computer Design Cards
This is a completely self working item, which you can perform, without
even knowing how or why it works. The performer displays a "chart" with
over a dozen different pictures or designs on it. A spectator mentally
thinks of any design. There are no forces, and the item can be repeated
with a different design at every showing. A few more cards are now displayed.
These have some of the designs on them. They are punched like the
computer cards used to be when there were no PCs in every home !
These cards have an OK and NO printed along their edges. The spectator
is asked to arrange these cards in a pile. If his design appears
on the card, it is placed with the OK to the top. If is doesn't appear
on the cards, it is placed with the NO edge to the top. The magician can
then instantly name the selected design. Or if you wish, you
can have another spectator reveal the selected design. Computer Design
Cards come to you with all the necessary cards, with the designs silk screened
in bright eye catching colors, and full working instructions .

Card Sword
The Card Sword is one of the most dramatic and effective stage items you
can perform with a pack of cards.
The performer displays a pack of cards. Three cards are selected
by members of the audience, and shuffled back into the pack. The pack is
held by a spectator. Performer displays a large sword. Spectator
is asked to toss the cards at the sword. As the cards cascade down,
the performer plunges the sword into the shower of cards. The audience
see three cards impaled on the sword. And needless to say these are
the same cards selected by the audience.
The Card Sword we supply is designed after the classic prop, some 30"
long, and 4" x 3" at the hilt. The sword is completely constructed
from brass, chromium plated in a gleaming silver finish.
The trick is mechanical in working but some handling practice is required
to present this effectively. The selected cards have to be forced,
as the cards that appear on the sword are not the originals, but duplicates.
You will destroy three cards with each performance, but this is a negligible
price to pay for such a dramatic effect. It is an effect which has
been used by some of the greatest names in magic, - well presented the
impact on the audience can equal that of a much larger and more expensive

Change Bags
We make a wide variety of Change Bags, which enable
you to produce, vanish or change any items that will fit into the bag.
There are two basic models, - the One Hand models,
with a small flat handle, that you can hold and operate with one hand.
The standard or regular handle models are with longer handles, and require
two hands to operate.
There are models that permit a single change,
and Repeat models, that permit two changes. Models with Zippers enable
you to open them at the bottom, and pass your hands through them, to "prove"
them empty.

Candy Factory
Performer displays an empty tube, and a clear glass, full of sugar. Explain
that you have a glass
of sugar which is easily made into candy by putting it in the dark
for an instant. Cover glass with the tube for an instant, then lift it
away, and glass appears full with candy.
The apparatus can be used with liquids, or other items. You can show
the glass full of milk then make the milk vanish. Or show the glass full
of tobacco, look around and remark that nobody seems to have brought his
pipe, so there is no use offering them loose tobacco. Being a magician
you can fix that, whereby you cover the glass, then lift the tube, and
you have a glass of cigarettes which are at once passed out.
A useful piece of apparatus, specially for the kid show performer,
easy to do, and very reasonably priced.

Cups and Balls sets.
The Cups and Balls are possibly the oldest surviving
Magic effect, having been used by magicians over the centuries. Balls magically
appear and vanish from under three cups, jump from under one cup to the
other, change colors, or transform to onions, fruit, or even baby chicks.
It is an effect you can perform for a life time, and still discover a new
twist or move to add to your routine.

Comedy Funnel
A classic Comedy prop. Liquid can be made to pour
out at will from an empty funnel.
Have a small boy drink a glass full of water.
Now ask him to pump his arms up and down, as you touch the funnel to various
parts of his body, and he sprouts a "leak" wherever you touch him.
You call up a spectator on stage and state you
are going to have him BRAIN WASHED. Pour soap water into one ear with the
help of a MILK JUG through the funnel. Then hold the funnel to the other
ear and have the water emerge from the funnel. If the water that emerges
is dirtier in color, you can explain that the spectator has a dirty mind
!
Draw a cow on a slate. Pretend to milk it into
the funnel, and have real milk pour out of the funnel at the bottom. Or
you could draw a bottle, and pour out the appropriate drink. If you are
not much of an artist, you could even show an Ad. for a drink in a magazine,
and pour out the drink from the picture via the funnel.
These are just a few ideas, from which you can
milk out a lot of laughs or mystery. Use your imagination and you will
find many other uses for this excellent magical prop.
The Comedy Funnel
we supply is made in brass, and plated, for long life and rust free service.
We also make a Super
Funnel, which serves exactly the same
purpose. But it is larger, has a different mechanism, and holds a larger
load of liquid. And the liquid flow is as easy to control in this model
as turning a tap on or off. You could pour liquid from the Super Funnel,
show it empty and place it on your table, then pick it up and pour more
liquid, at will.

Coffee To Confetti
The performer pours out a cup of coffee. He apparently tosses this
at the audience, but instead of scalding coffee, glitter confetti pours
out of the cup.
You could of course vary the effect, pour in milk, and have tiny candy
pour out, and so on.
The original method for this effect involved a partition cup with a
hole, and a hallow saucer. This has now been modified to work on
the Foo Can principal, so that all the necessary gimmicking is inside the
cup.

saucer, and some confetti, with full instructions

Costume Capers
Here is a new mental Magic effect, working on a different principle that
is exceptionally clean cut, direct, and colorful. The performer shows a
large picture of a Girl in a bathing costume. The picture is in a
cut out frame, depicting a clothes line on the beach, with a towel slung
over the line. The towel just covers the swimming costume of the
girl, leaving the rest of the picture clearly visible at all times.
Four miniature playing card size replicas of the Girl are displayed,
all identical, except for the colors of the costume which are all different,
- Red, Yellow, Blue and Green.
The spectator may select any of the pictures he likes, There
is no force of any kind, and the selection is absolutely fair and free.
Let us presume the spectator selects the Girl with the Green Costume. The
large picture is now pulled out of the frame, facing the audience, and
therefor fully visible at all times. There is absolutely no possibility
of a switch of pictures. It is pulled out almost completely, so that
the costume is fully visible. The Girl is seem to be attired in the
Green costume, the same as the spectator's free selection.
There is no switch or exchange of cards or envelopes. The entire
prediction picture is clearly on view at all times, except for the color
of the costume which is hidden behind the towel.
This is a mechanical 100% sure fire prediction effect, which will permit
you to produce the prediction picture dressed in any of the four colored
required. There are no forces, stooges, or similar stratagems. The
manuscript supplied details presentation variations, where you are the
judge at a beauty contest, or another variation with a story of four identical
sisters etc. The item is very easy to perform, requiring only a few
handling trials to understand the working principle.
